The Sustainable Practices Program continues to expand. Our mission is to offer individual classes and professional certificate programs for people who are interested in sustainability.
Whether you are seeking basic information to get you started, a professional certificate program in your area of focus, or a launching point into an academic degree, our Sustainability Practices Program can help you get started.
Sustainable Buildings & Energy
Increase your knowledge of the built environment through a variety of courses on everything from residential water conservations to a big-picture look at building systems. Classes may be taken individually or as part of the Sustainable Buildings & Energy Certificate.
Sustainability Management
In the Spring of 2010 we are offering a number of courses under the new Sustainability Management Certificate. This interdisciplinary program investigates the critical interactions between people, profit, and planet—the triple bottom line. We anticipate that our students will come from diverse professional backgrounds and will be interested in organizational sustainability.
Climate Literacy
Sustainability Management offers a special selection of courses that focus on climate literacy. Climate literacy offerings are intended for anyone who wants to better understand the science behind climate concerns and how human behavior is affecting Earth’s climate.
New Sustainability Management Certificate available in Spring 2010.
