Faculty members can identify their outreach endeavors by coding applicable professional activities using this on-line report. More than half of all FRPA respondents have incorporated outreach categories into the report and every CU-Boulder department is represented in the outreach data, giving a glimpse at how each is partnering with, benefiting from, and impacting groups across the state. Examples of outreach activities include applied research, technical assistance, demonstration projects, impact evaluations, service learning, policy analysis, and off-campus credit and non-credit instruction. Outreach examples from campus are as varied as the subjects taught at CU-Boulder, and serve schools and teachers, community groups, local governments, business organizations, and, in some cases, a selected community.
