The University of Colorado Boulder offers piano lessons for youth ages 6 to 17 years old. Through private lessons, youth will learn from experienced instructors from the CU-Boulder College of Music.
The CU Youth Piano Program trains students through weekly private and group lessons. Instructors are experienced teachers from the CU College of Music, and the program is supervised by the CU Piano Pedagogy Chair, Dr. Alejandro Cremaschi. The lessons provide thorough instruction at the highest and most effective pedagogical standards while providing opportunities for fun, motivation, and enjoyment of music.
The group class is intended for beginners in second and third grade without prior piano lessons. Classes will be taught in small groups of up to 8 in the electronic piano laboratory at the College of Music. Classes begin Sept. 5 (no class Sept. 19 and Nov. 28).
$300 semester tuition (13 one-hour meetings). The instructor is Dr. Meredith Mihm.

• Healthy techniques

Lessons target children age 6-17. New students will have a diagnostic lesson and parent interview during the first meeting with the instructor to determine their level and needs.
