You can find a list of local companies through the Chamber of Commerce in the geographic location you are interested in.
For example, the Boulder Chamber of Commerce provides a “membership directory” on its home page you can search. The Chambers also create a “Book of Lists,” which lists top companies in various industries by revenue in most metropolitan areas. These can be found in local libraries.
