Covers simplifying algebraic expressions, factoring linear and quadratic equations, inequalities, exponentials, logarithms, functions and graphs, and systems of equations. Students may not receive credit for both MATH 1011, 1010, and 1020; MATH 1001, MATH 1150. Prerequisite, one year high school algebra or placement exam score for MATH 1000. Meets MAPS requirement for mathematics. Approved for arts and sciences core curriculum: quantitative reasoning and mathematical skills.
