Explores major theories and concepts in educational psychology as they apply to teaching in contemporary K-12 classrooms as well as informal learning settings. Emphasizes social-cognitive and sociocultural perspectives on learning, motivation, identity development, and inclusive instructional practice. This course is designed for active participation in the online environment and relies on ongoing personal reflection and collaborative discussions. May be repeated up to 18 total hours.
