Professor Joe Ryan wins 2008 Pacesetter Award

Professor Joe Ryan received the 2008 Pacesetter Award from the Daily Camera. Ryan was recognized for his work in finding the cause of and solution to water-purity levels in Boulder County. “He is exceptional and extremely dedicated to the work he does and integrating his work with service learning and civic engagement with his students,” said Peter Simons, director of IECE.

Joe Ryan is a professor of civil, environmental and architectural engineering, and a past Outreach committee award recipient .
