Applications for the the Summer 2012 Pre-Medical Post-Baccalaureate Program will close Tuesday, Feb. 21. The program is designed for “career changers” who were academically successful as undergraduates but have not completed the prerequisite courses needed to apply to medical and other healthcare-related professional schools.
Now entering its second year, the program provides an intensive, cohort-style academic experience for 20 students who have previously completed a bachelor’s degree in a non-science area. Advising, tutoring, study skills, social activities, faculty interaction, and a committee letter for qualified students are hallmarks of the program.
